It is so cool how you got to learn about the different types of symmetry, and even got to experiment using a mirror! That would have been such an exciting maths lesson, and I am jealous that I didn’t get to do that back when I was in primary school! You mentioned how you got a mirror and checked to see if the images were reflective, rotational or translational. How exactly did you do this?
