This is our science experiment. We made it for to see what happens and for fun first we had some special powder and we put some spoonful's of water in it and it growed then we put salt in it and it turned into water.
Kia ora Lucy, Wow, it sounds like you had an extremely exciting science lesson! Science experiments are always so much fun, and it is great to see you participating in them at school! Adding water to a special powder and watching it grow would have been an exciting experience, and it is so cool to hear how the mixture turned back to water once you added some salt. It is always interesting to see what reactions occur between different ingredients, and I truly am amazed to hear how the mixture you created turned into water once you added salt. What was the special powder that you used called? How much water did you need to add for it to grow? How long did it take for the mixture to turn back to water once the salt was added? It would be awesome if you could reply to this comment and let me know! A hypothesis is a term used in science to share what you think is going to happen in an experiment. This doesn’t have to be what actually happened once the experiment took place, but the idea of what you thought may occur. Did you have a hypothesis before starting this experiment? If so, what was your hypothesis? Keep blogging! Nga mihi
