Time Capsule

 Yesterday we thought we should make a time capsule. We are making letters to put in there. We are writing them to ourself.  We are going to keep it in the ground for about 50 years and then people might dig it up. If no one digs it up in 50 years or less it might never get dug up! We are doing it because we might forget what it was like in the past. It is really fun writing it. Have you ever found or made a time capsule?

        

The black cat! E-book

In Ruma Kererū we have been writing  E-books. We found some photos for our E-book. It is hard to think of what to write. I saw a picture of a cat so I did it of the black cat. My story is short but interesting. In the story my cat called 'Fluffy' was hungry so she went and found some wild food, rabbits!

Bio cube planing

This is my planing bio cube we done it for reading. I am proud of it because it we need to do one on a different bit and because I have put a lot of effort. And I learnt what a bio cube is. have you ever made a bio cube.

  

Pepeha

This is my Pepeha. My hole class made a Pepeha for to put on our waka art that we have done. I made it by looking at the words at the front ko means name nō means were you came from and kei means where you live now. Have you ever made a Pepeha. It was a little bit hard.

New friends

On Friday we got two new pets to baby sit from our neighbours. The sheeps name is Rosco and the pigs name is Piggy. We might have them for a couple of months as the owners have to bye new land. Thay are very friendly and like scraches.

Foam

This is me Nate and Meia at the beach. The sea was really rough and there was lots of foam on the sand. The foam was really deep it covered my legs. It was heaps of fun! 

Frosty

This is my pet Frosty the goat. Frosty is a girl and her best friend is a sheep. She likes to eat mums garden and she is really friendly.

chickens

In the weekend we made the old chock into a better one. we had to get two buckets of dirt and sand.  Then we got the rake and raked the old mud out. and then tipped in the new dirt Then we got some hay and made some  laying boxes, then we made a  perch for them to sleep on.

This is my Haiku poem. My goat is in there. I am on the tramp and there is fish and chips.  You just  need to do three sentences and 17 syllables.

This is my haiku poem. The cat was easy because I know how to do them. The 8 was hard but I made it and the house was easy.

This was hard because it took a week and a day to do. I like the music because it is one way but then it changes half way through. I like the mandarin I made.

Term 2 Reflection

I need to work on making my learning easier by practising it at home.

My favourite bit of the term was Cross Country because I came 2nd.I felt really happy. But I didn’t like doing two laps.

Hi my name is Lucy and I go to Kaniere School. My room is Ruma Tui. My age is 8. My favourite game is wink wink murderer. My friends are Olivia and Renny. My favourite thing to do at school is reading and writing. My favourite thing is going on the swings and going to the swimming pool. My favourite pet is cats and dogs . My pets are a cat, sheep and chickens. I like to eat fish and chips and pizza. My favourite sport is gymnastics and netball. I like to eat fish and chips and pizza. Safe Walking

Constable Jos came to teach us about safe walking. My favourite part was when we actually went safe walking around the block. If you go walking you need to look 2 or 3 times at the road. You don't walk on kerb side the adult should walk on the kerb side. If there is a dog there you don’t run away you torn your back to it.
